From the first device we met nine long years ago until today, the Huawei Mate series smartphones have been impressing users with their performance and cameras that have been upgraded year after year. And these very days, the latest representative of the main series, the Mate 50 Pro, is knocking on our door, arriving in Slovenia at the end of October. On this occasion, we can take a look at the history and see the path taken by the Mate and how the evolution of the series has changed the standards and usage of smartphones throughout history.
The story began in early 2013, when Huawei presented the Ascend Mate at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. At that time, the new revolutionary device captured the most attention of users with its large 6.1-inch screen, large 4,050 mAh battery and excellent camera. A year later, Ascend Mate 2 4G and Ascend Mate 7 followed, devices with the same big screen and better performance, which are also the latest models under the Ascend Mate name.
