In Podjetje Porsche Slovenija, they are preparing for the time when only electric cars will be sold. This will also happen in Slovenia soon. However, in the event of a boom in electric mobility, an electric car will not be enough.
Three years ago, Porsche Slovenia introduced the MOON e-mobility brand on the Slovenian market. In the past three years, we have not yet seen a real breakthrough in e-mobility in Slovenia, however, Porsche Slovenia is confident that it already has products on offer that offer comprehensive assistance to those who want an electric car in the transition from motorized to electric with a car. internal combustion. Together with their partners, they presented with their business partners TAB, Lumar, Amibit, Etrel and Elnet at ID.Hub in Aleja in Ljubljana and talked about the development and innovative and upcoming solutions in the field of e-mobility.

Instead of going to the gas station under the canopy of the house
As stated by the general manager of Porsche Slovenia, Danilo Viriancic, the Volkswagen brand has committed to a complete transition to e-mobility due to the DieselJet scandal. The car manufacturers are also complying with the decision of lawmakers in Brussels that zero-emission vehicles will only be sold in the European Union from 2035 onwards. That’s why the new MOON brand, according to Ferjancic, offers private and commercial customers a comprehensive range of electric vehicles, domestic and public charging infrastructure, on-the-go charging services, and a generation, storage and management solution. of electricity. Consulting, design and support, including assistance with obtaining approvals, subsidies and financing, is an important part of integrated solutions. According to Ferjancic, all this is necessary today for a truly sustainable experience in the field of self-care and electronic mobility.
He also highlighted the strategic goal: “We are a leading provider of electric vehicles and energy solutions and the development of new mobility concepts. Our mission is to facilitate our customers’ entry into the world of electronic mobility.” He added that there is no going back to electrification, although he admitted that the sale of electric cars in Slovenia does not indicate this distance. This year, it’s 40 percent higher than last year, but still only five percent of the total new passenger car market in 2022. For comparison, Viriancic adds Austria, where the share of new electric cars is already nearly 15 percent. , and in Germany 20%. In doing so, he appeals to the state to play a major, if not the biggest, role in hacking zero-emission mobility in Slovenia. Transport accounts for 27 percent of emissions, well above the EU average. He also stresses that changing the mentality of drivers will also be necessary, as they will be able to charge cars at home, and this will be achieved through new devices in homes. 85 percent of all charging takes place at home, and only 15 percent at public charging stations.
Officials in these areas should be very concerned
A new chest is coming to our homes
That is why, in the future, part of most homes in our country should have an energy storage device in the form of a larger box, which will be a source for storing excess energy, which we will produce using a solar power plant, for example . TAB Mežica CEO Roman Burja, who developed the storage solution for energy storage for MOON, confirmed that this will be necessary to regulate energy surpluses or deficits and will be part of the majority in the near future. At PS, they have already introduced an optiMOON device for managing resources and loads in the home. The box-shaped device, which is the core of the system and is meant to ensure that the home will be able to function as it should in the future, no matter what happens in the electricity market. It can manage everything from the refrigerator to the heat pump and vehicle charging, and it also enables external communication with the systems operating in the power grid.
We will create a community
As indicated by the interlocutors, in the future there will be no more or less expensive tariffs for electricity consumption, but it will be possible to exchange several tariff categories during the day. With the smart solutions they provide, they ensure that we will be able to lower the cost of our electricity or grid bill. Through automation, we will be able to prioritize ourselves, that is, when household appliances should be the most burdensome and when charging the car.
Electric utility owners can pay high electricity bills out of ignorance
It will also be possible to contact the MOON system user community, where users will be able to agree on prices and terms themselves. The past few months have proven tough. « Of course, the sun and solar power plants play a big role in this, only in this way can everyone be self-sufficient. MOON has installed 43 solar power plants this year, and about 100 more will be installed. Due to the load on the grid, this year they received about 10% of the refusal from electricity distributors to install solar power plants.
Shipping even before blocks and with a credit card
As noted by Dusan Lukic, Head of the New Mobility Project, efforts are being made to bring electric mobility closer to residents of multi-apartment buildings. The charging stations provided by Etrel for MOON have already been installed in the places where they have parking space. There are currently more than 500 users who charge private and commercial companies in Slovenia. Complementing the network of 129 public charging stations is the possibility of charging several users at the same time in the company, and in the parking garage of ubičeva in Ljubljana, where 16 charging stations have been installed, and the fee can already be paid without registration, only with a payment card.
